This model is for the player seeking an affordable, US-made, semi-custom guitar of exceptional quality. Conceived as a blend between the archtop and the venerable ES-335, it offers soft acoustic tone as well as a high-output electric sound with minimal feedback.
To control quality and trim cost, computer-aided manufacturing is used on the internal chambers of the guitar. Tops and backs are vacuum pressed at the Ellsberry shop, using multiple layers of instrument-quality maple, beautifully figured on the outside.
This guitars is an outstanding choice for the jazz musician as well as the rock and blues player. Features include:

I carve the spruce top and solid back by hand, helping to provide a rich acoustic tone. An exclusive, lightweight inner block dampens feedback at higher volumes. The result is a perfect guitar for both small gigs or large group settings. Plus you get the craftsmanship and the personalized attention to detail only a small-shop, custom luthier gives you.
