A Balance of Tradition and Refinement

My inspiration for guitar making remains the traditional archtop. Even electrified, my guitars are first and foremost dynamic and responsive acoustic instruments. This is especially evident in my Arch de Lutan model archtop.

An Ellsberry custom guitar is made by hand to meet the player's needs, from overall sound requirements to neck form and fit. Our produtiion models - made entirely at the Ellsberry shop in Los Angeles - are crafted with equal care and meticulous attention to detail.

It's my goal to build distinctive guitars by combining a deep respect I have for the art of fine instrument making with an innate passion for discovery and improvement.
