A Balance of Tradition and Refinement
My inspiration for guitar making remains the traditional archtop. Even electrified, my guitars are - first and foremost - dynamic and responsive acoustic instruments. This is especially evident in my Arch de Lutan model.Crafted entirely by hand, my guitars are customized to individual player needs - from overall sound requirements to neck form and fit.
It's my goal to build distinctive guitars by combining a deep respect I have for the art of fine instrument making with an innate passion for discovery and improvement.

I’m very honored to welcome painter, composer and musician Andrea Razzauti to the Ellsberry family of guitarists. A multi-dimensional blend of talent, Andrea is a world-renowned painter, with works in private collections throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. Add to that an accomplished guitarist, as heard on a just-completed album of original compositions.
Andrea's new CD is produced by two-time Grammy winner Paul Brown, and features a host of contemporary jazz greats, including the legendary jazz vocalist Patti Austin. Release is scheduled for early 2008.
Andrea Razzauti is an artist without boundaries. I value his breadth of artistic expression, his contribution to art, and his friendship. And I look forward to working with him in the coming months.
