A Balance of Tradition and Refinement

My inspiration for guitar making remains the traditional archtop. Even electrified, my guitars are - first and foremost - dynamic and responsive acoustic instruments. This is especially evident in my Arch de Lutan model archtop.

An Ellsberry custom guitar is crafted entirely by hand, customized to the player's needs - from overall sound requirements to neck form and fit.

It's my goal to build distinctive guitars by combining a deep respect I have for the art of fine instrument making with an innate passion for discovery and improvement.

From the Maker - July 2, 2008:

I'm pleased to announce that our shop has been moved to a larger facility, from Torrance to Harbor City, CA. I have been looking forward to expanding floor space for over a year now, and this move is key to growing the Ellsberry Guitars name and better serving my customers.
